    The 10th annual Trinity River Levee Run is presented by the Dallas Running Club. In addition to a chip-timed 5k and 10k, also planned are a one-mile Fun Run, the Trinity Sprint Invitational, and the Glenn Carter Public Safety Challenge between police and fire departments.

Triathlon Strengthen your ability to do well in a triathlon through two classes taught by renowned coaches Todd Codish and Sean Gassman. “Introduction to Triathlons” helps you better understand what is involved in competing and how to train. "Transitions: The Fourth Triathlon Sport” will show you – through rides across the MHH Bridge -- how to improve transition times in and out of triathlon bike segments.

Cycling Younger kids, bring your bike helmet, tricycle, trainer bike or bike and participate in the KidsKup competition, put on by Bike Texas. Older kids, bring your helmet and bike and show your skills (and learn some safety tips) with the Bike Rodeo. A parent must accompany participating kids. Birds Help the Trinity River Audubon Center and the Fort Worth District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers inventory and log the different species of birds that make the Trinity River corridor their habitat.
